I appreciate local, sustainably grown produce and want to ensure that it remains available by participating in the Pennypack Farm & Education Center Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program. I understand that the farmers and staff pledge to do their best to provide the vegetables they propose at the times they estimate. However, as a shareholder in both the bounty and the risk, I understand that nature ultimately decides what I will receive and when I will receive it. I have read the refund policy below and understand there are no refunds after the CSA begins; however, I may sell or transfer my share to another party, with the approval of Pennypack Farm.
REFUND POLICY We do not offer refunds for shares, although we will accept transfers if you are unable to continue your subscription. Pennypack Farm must be consulted before you sell your share and has final approval of transfer of membership.
MISSED PICKUPS We harvest much of your share the day before your designated pick up day. If you are unable to pick up your share, you are welcome to send a friend. If you plan on being out of town or are unable to pick up a share, you are welcome to give it to someone else to pick up. Unclaimed shares are donated. We do not provide refunds for missed shares, or allow you to “double up” to make up for missed produce.
SPLITTING SHARES Anyone splitting a share must do so on their own. Pennypack Farm is not responsible for payment or distribution when a share is split between parties and will not be involved in disputes between parties splitting shares. As there are limits to the quantity of each vegetable, you must pick up a share in full at one time and split between partners off-site (if applicable).
